I'm a software engineering leader with 20+ years in the industry, currently a Director Consulting Expert at CGI, where I've worked since 2013. I lead 18 developers across Calgary and India shipping four products.
My sweet spot is the intersection of deep engineering and leadership: GenAI-accelerated development (automated agentic workflows in Codex, AI agents with the Agno framework, RAG), legacy modernization, and building the development processes and coaching culture that let teams deliver. Java and Spring Boot are home turf; React, Docker, Oracle and REST APIs round out the toolkit.
I believe the best engineering orgs are built deliberately — good process, honest feedback, and developers who keep learning. That's the team I'm building, and the kind of team I want to keep leading.

- Lead 18 developers across Calgary and India across 4 products, owning delivery end to end.

I'm based in Calgary, Alberta, where I live with my wife and our two kids. When I'm not shipping software or coaching engineers, I'm spending time with family and staying plugged into the tech community.
I write code because I still love it after two decades — and these days, I'm deep into app modernization and spec-driven development (GitHub Spec Kit, BMAD), alongside AI agents and GenAI-assisted development. Learning everything I can about where the craft is headed.
